Donations needed for raffle

54521152_1983104801985922_1930866465620099072_oOn Saturday, April 6, we will be hosting our annual Spring Carnival and Raffle, a community-wide event that is great fun for Bluffsview students and their families. Each year, Bluffsview families are a great support in helping this event be such a great success. We appreciate the time, effort, and financial contributions from the entire Bluffsview Community.

We rely on the proceeds from the raffle to support some of the school-wide programs that the PTA is able to offer Bluffsview such as COSI on Wheels and Artists in the Schools program. In addition, the PTA has been focused on raising funds for technology such as laptop carts and chrome books.

So, this is where you come in. We are asking for you to consider donating an item or gift card, or making a financial contribution to the Bluffsview Raffle. We are thrilled to receive donations such as toys, games, or activities for kids. We are also in need of gift cards to restaurants, stores, and events.

If your family life is anything like ours, it is jam-packed. We are happy to do the shopping for you, just send in a check (made payable to the Bluffsview PTA) or cash with your child in an envelope marked “Bluffsview Raffle Donation” and we will take it from there. We would like to acknowledge any donation on our Facebook group (Bluffsview Raffle), through promotional material that is distributed to Bluffsview families, and at the event itself, unless you request otherwise.

Raffle donations still needed

The Spring Carnival & Raffle is in just a few short weeks and we are still in need of raffle donations!
If you are interested in marking a donation of any size, the raffle committee would so appreciate the help. Please send items to the Bluffsview office by March 14. No time to shop? Donate money, and the raffle chairs will do the shopping!

Baked goods and pop bottles needed

Two of the most popular games at the Spring Carnival are the cake walk and the 2-liter pop bottle toss. We need approximately 120 cakes for the cake walk and 120 full 2-liter bottles of pop to make these games successful for the kids.

Donuts, brownies, cupcakes– homemade or store bought– are all welcome and should be dropped off on Friday, March 17. Pop may be brought to the school office any time.

Donations needed for Spring Carnival Raffle

Now that the Staff Raffle is complete, it’s time to focus on the next one– the Spring Carnival Raffle!

On Saturday, March 18, the PTA will host the annual Spring Carnival and Raffle.  This is a community-wide event that is great fun for Bluffsview students and their families.

Empty egg cartons needed

The PTA is in need of empty egg cartons for one of the stations we will have at our upcoming science night on February 23. If you could send it in with your child, it would be greatly appreciated! PTA will have a box in the main entrance of the school, clearly labeled so the kids can just drop it off in the morning.
