Entertainment Book fundraiser underway

Here is an easy way you can help with the first fundraiser of the year! Our school is selling Entertainment Books for $30 each.

  1. Set up an fundraising page on https://raisy.co/bluffsview-elementary-school. Then send out emails or share on Facebook– perfect for out-of-town friends and family.
  2. Sell books to friends and family. Our goal is for every student to sell at least 2 books.
  3. Turn in your orders by September 1. Checks should be payable to Bluffsview E.S.

If you have any questions, please contain Natalie Van Winker at natski4127@yahoo.com.

It’s time to order Supply Kits

This year may not be over quite yet, but it’s time to order Supply Kits for the 2017-2018 school year.

The last day to bring your order form to school is May 22, 2017.  Should you order by this method, a check needs to be included made payable to the Bluffsview PTA.

You may also order online at www.shopttkits.com by June 2, 2017.  Bluffsview’s account number is 30600.

These deadlines are firm as no late orders will be accepted.

This is an easy way to purchase your student’s supplies without waiting on sales and traveling from store to store.  Backpacks, water bottles and lunch bags may also be purchased.  This is your only opportunity to purchase school supplies through the school.  Orders will be picked up on August 9; times will be announced in the August newsletter.

The Bluffsview PTA appreciates your support!

WKHS Community Kids Field Day

IB students at WKHS invite all Worthington students to attend a Community Kids Field Day from 10-1 on Thursday, May 25 at the football stadium.

Kids can celebrate the first day of summer by playing organized games with their friends, for a great cause – all proceeds go to PackH2O, which provides backpacks to filter and carry water in developing countries. You’ll also be supporting our high school students community service project!

Volunteers needed for Spring Carnival

The Spring Carnival is operated 100% by volunteers. It’s a family event FOR families BY families. We are still in need of MANY volunteers to make the Carnival a success.

Please consider volunteering to work a 1-hour shift in one or more of the following areas:

  • Games
  • Ticket sales
  • Clean up
  • Raffle Room

Please note that your child can “help” with you.

If you can volunteer, please return the form that was sent home yesterday, or contact Amy Evans at amy.evans77@att.net.

Raffle donations still needed

The Spring Carnival & Raffle is in just a few short weeks and we are still in need of raffle donations!
If you are interested in marking a donation of any size, the raffle committee would so appreciate the help. Please send items to the Bluffsview office by March 14. No time to shop? Donate money, and the raffle chairs will do the shopping!
